Teaching and Research Interests

Hunter-gatherer paleoecology, archaeological faunal analysis, site structural and spatial analysis,archaeological method and theory. 

Research Experience

Co-Principal Investigator, Hudson-Meng Paleoindian Bonebed  Research Center,Crawford, Nebraska.

I have been involved since 1991 with an on-going research program at the Hudson-Meng site in conjunction with the U.S. Forest Service, Nebraska National Forest. In 1997, construction of a Research and Learning Center was completed by the Forest Service at this site.

Co-Principal Investigator: Dr. Lawrence C. Todd.
Co-Principal Investigator, Analysis and Publication of Hell Gap Site Materials, Wyoming. With George C. Frison, Marcel Kornfeld, and Mary Lou Larson.  Funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
