the Cooper house

"Christina's Cooper" by Simon Harrison

This distinctive building is the home of American Studies at the University of Wyoming.

A local landmark and listed historic building, the house is an eclectic mélange of Pueblo, Mission, and Art Deco styles.

The house was designed by Laramie architect Wilbur Hitchcock, and is the only building of this style on the university campus.
