Organizational Level and ExamplesThe stores on 2nd Street have the highest level of organization. Unlike the abundance levels, the rest of the stores on the other streets are not all the same level, but the majority of them have a low level of organization. While a low level of organization might not deter shoppers, it is an element to consider in window display. The higher the organization level the easier it is for the consumer to see the items on display. Also, the consumers can get the impression that the store takes a great deal of care over the placement of the items in the display. Therefore, it appears that the stores on 2nd Street are more concerned about attracting shoppers by using an easily accessible view of their merchandise while the stores on the other streets vary in this level of concern. |

Earth, Wind, and Fire Gallery |
High Organization All of the window displays for this store have similar items and similar color schemes grouped together. This window shows a collection of related earthenware and glass ornaments. These items are carefully arranged on the clear shelving units. Also, the items are in a similar color scheme of turquoise and white. |

El Conquistador Restaurant |
Medium Organization This window display has a theme of Mexico that fits the theme of the restaurant itself. Much of the window space is utilized for this theme. On the left-hand side, there is a statue of a conquistador that refers to the name of the restaurant. Also, this window has a tropical plant and various earthenware containers. The right-hand side has fewer themed items unless the posted menu counts. Even the neon signs bear the symbols (or stereotypes) of Mexico with the depiction of the parrot and the cactus. |

Green Gold Silversmith |
Low Organization There is some attempt to decorate this window with the addition of the lights on the ceiling of the window space, but the reason that this window receives a low rating is because of the orientation of the shelving unit. Granted, the paintings on the shelves are organized, but the shelves face toward the inside of the store rather than toward the passing consumer. The window is not organized, therefore, for this consumer. (Note: the other window in this store is organized more for the consumer. |
