Reminders of the Past —The Cowboy Bar

The image of the cowboy bar is an example of architectural features commonly associated with a specific type of business, remaining behind when another business takes its place. The building’s façade is typical of a small town, single screen theater. The Fox sign has been left as a reminder of the building’s past. Below it, a sign reading "Cowboy Saloon, Live Bands" is an acknowledgment of its current denizen. While this building has not been renovated, its happenstance layering gives it personality that a generic bar building could never have.
