Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory

The WSVL is an animal disease diagnostic laboratory. It provides excellent hands-on experience for students interested in animal care, laboratory procedures, and research. WSVL currently employees about 25 students.

The laboratory provides testing and research services to animal owners and wildlife managers throughout Wyoming and the region.

The department's primary focus is on diseases exchanged between wildlife and livestock.

     Teaching life sciences and
     infectious disease disciplines
     Regulatory testing
