Admission Requirements

Students may apply for admission up to two years before they intend to enroll. Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis as soon as a completed application is received by the UW Admissions Office. To avoid complications and delays, all application materials should be on file in the Admissions Office at least 30 days before registration for classes.

Assured Admission
To qualify for assured admission to the University of Wyoming, high school graduates who are first-time college students or college transfers with fewer than 30 transferable hours of credit, must meet the following minimum admission requirements.

We value students who broaden the diversity of our campus or who are exceptionally talented in the arts, sciences, athletics, or other areas. We also realize there may be special cases or unusual circumstances not covered by assured admission or admission with conditions. For more information about admission by exception, or if you have any other questions about our admission process, please contact UW Admissions.
