Alumni Recruiting Network

They Too Will Bleed Brown & Gold...

The University of Wyoming Admissions Office needs your help telling prospective students across the country and across the globe about the amazing adventure and incredible opportunities that await them at UW!

There are several ways you can help:

Volunteer to attend college fairs in your area

The UW Admissions Office is frequently invited to college fairs in locations that we don't travel to. In some cases these fairs can be attended by alumni representatives. These volunteers stand at tables with school information and provide basic info on the institution. UW information, materials and table decorations are provided to volunteers in advance so you feel prepared to represent UW.

Refer a prospective student

If you know a prospective student in high school that you feel would be a good fit at Wyoming, we'd like to begin recruiting them! Fill out this form and provide as much info as you can about the student and between UW and you, we'll work some recruiting magic!

Follow up with admitted students and their parents in your area

The Admissions Office spends great resources mailing, calling, emailing, etc. with students across the globe in an effort to get them to attend our great institution. Local alumni can help in this process by calling students and parents to congratulate them on their admission to UW and help answer any questions or concerns they may have.

Contact your local schools and volunteer to help kids consider and plan for college

The number of high school graduates nationwide is expected to decline after 2009. While colleges and universities will compete even more aggressively for college bound students, the real opportunity to make a difference is helping younger students see college as a benefit and a real possibility. Volunteer to present at career days and tutor or mentor middle school children!

Attend UW events in your area and support your local alumni groups

The University of Wyoming Alumni Association and National Ambassadors host events across the country for alumni, providing them an opportunity to reengage and network. To learn more about attending an event or being a part of the local groups that coordinate programs, visit their websites at:
