The scholarship is not available for use during Summer semesters.

Students selected to recieve the Rocky Mountain Scholars Award must confirm their enrollment at UW by May 1st. Students will recieve instructions on how to confirm their enrollment after being admitted.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)
The University of Wyoming is a participant in the Western Undergraduate Exchange program and offers a discounted tuition rate equal to 150% of the resident tuition rate. UW will select 50 new freshmen from WUE participating states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, or Washington) to recieve this award annually. Those recieving the heavily discounted WUE tuition rate will not be eligible to recieve Rocky Mountain Scholars awards. Children of UW Graduates
Discounts given to children of UW graduates are not available in addition to the Rocky Mountain Scholars award amounts listed above, but instead serve to enhance the student's overall benefit. Please contact the Admissions Office or visit our Children of Alumni tuition benefit page for additional details on how the Rocky Mountain Scholars award and the Child of Alumni benefit work together.

All scholarships are subject to available funding.
