SSP Action Item (diversity efforts) Work with Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Administration and Employment Practices in preparing a compendium of efforts supporting diversity across the campus community and a system for tracking future efforts.

Develop a definition for UW with other appropriate groups including but not limited to the President’s Advisory Council on Minority and Women’s Affairs (PACMWA), the directors of the Ethnic Study, International and Women’s Study programs, International Programs, International Student Services, Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Adult and Women’s Center.

Review recruiting and retention support service plans that are focused on diversity;

Support diverse related recruiting and retention initiatives

Interface with other diverse related groups at UW and off campus for community building.
