At Half Acre Gym, you will find state of the art features including a climbing wall, jogging track, swimming pool, aerobic, dance, and step classes; weight machines and free weights, cardio machines, racquetball and basketball courts, and a wellness center with information and suggestions for healthy living choices.
The Corbett PE Building features additional basketball courts and a second indoor swimming pool. Our outdoor facilities include softball and soccer fields, tennis courts, and Jacoby Golf Course.
The Outdoor Adventure Program offers informative clinics, inexpensive equipment rentals, and exciting outings like backcountry skiing and whitewater rafting.
The 17 teams in our Club Sports Program are dominant forces, not only in the Rocky Mountain Region, but also in National Championship competition.
UW's Intramural Sports Program ranks with the elite programs in the country in both size and variety. Almost 6,000 students, faculty, and staff compete in over 45 different sports year round.
Cowboy Athletics are an integral and exciting part of campus life. The Cowboys and Cowgirls compete against regional and national powers as well as the members of the Mountain West Conference. Students get into all of the home action for free and choose from the best seats in the house. You can even join the die-hard Sixth-Man Club and get into home basketball games an hour before the general public!
