Travel

     1.  Read UNIREG 177, rev. 7.  

     2.  Procedures vary widely between departments and colleges.  Be sure to consult
          your department's support person.  You can also call Accounts Payable at
          766-5314.

     3.  Remember that careful and correct documentation is essential.  Failure to
          provide correct documentation can result in delay or refusal of reimbursement.

     4.  RECEIPTS must come from the original vendor and support all amounts
          claimed.  Credit card slips or bills won't work.  Gasoline charges at convenience
          stores must be itemized with the number of gallons and price per gallon.  Please
          read the various sections of the UniReg for more specific information.  When in
         doubt, get a receipt.

     5.  "Employees of the University shall not be reimbursed for expenses incurred for
          alcoholic beverages."  UniReg 177, rev. 7, section 17, part f.  Receipts need to
          be clearly marked for alcohol purchases and the amount subtracted from the
          total claimed.
