Leadership in civic and business affairs is the hallmark of Daniel B. Sullivan's career since graduating from the University with a bachelor's degree in 1966. Born and raised in Wyoming, Sullivan has remained in the state, creating and leading numerous nonprofit organizations. He is past president of the Natrona County United Way and Casper Family YMCA. He organized and led the Cancer Treatment Center and Hospice Program. For six years, he served in the Wyoming State Senate. His accomplishments in business are equally impressive. For example, he organized and was president of American Bank of Casper and the Wyoming Community Development Authority. Over the past 15 years, Sullivan has donated his services as master of ceremonies and auctioneer, raising more than $2 million for Wyoming nonprofit and charitable organizations. Sullivan has not forgotten his connections to UW, and today server on both the Art Museum Board, and, since 1989, the College of Arts and Sciences Board of Visitors. |
