After graduating from UW with a degree in political science, Jane Farrell (1976-1977 Rosemary Martha Spitaleri Outstanding Senior Woman) attended Notre Dame Law School. Farrell, then, returned to her hometown, Hot Springs, South Dakota, to practice law with her father. Together, Farrell and her late father, Martin, served pro bono as legal counsel for Red Cloud Indian School on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. After her father’s death, Farrell took over as chief legal counsel for the school and recently began working as the director of development for Red Cloud. A strong supporter of the University of Wyoming, Farrell is a member of the Wyoming Alumni Board of Directors. |
