 Exemplary Alumni

In 1992, the College of Arts and Sciences issued a call for nominations for Exemplary Alumni, those of our graduates between 1919 and 1993 who met any and/or all of the following criteria: outstanding in his or her field, a significant contributor to society or humanity, a success story or otherwise special, an example of the ideals of a broad-based liberal arts education, and one who demonstrates a substantial contribution to arts and sciences. Those nominated were considered by a distinguished panel comprised of current and former A&S faculty and interested friends.
