Alumni Spotlight - On website October, 2004
      Pictured here is the award winning Full Classic 1933 Marmon Sixteen Cylinder Convertible Coupe owned by Betsy and Lonnie Fallin. This car won Best in Class trophies at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance in 2004 and at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in 2001. In addition, the car has been awarded the Premier Badge in the Classic Car Club of America and the President’s Cup in the Antique Automobile of America.  

     A Laramie native, Lonnie received Bachelors and Masters degrees from the Department of Zoology and Physiology at UW before receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1971. His wife Betsy completed two years at UW before they moved to San Francisco. They celebrated their 39th anniversary in October. After practicing dentistry for 29 years in Denver, Lonnie sold his practice in 2000 and now volunteers one day a week at the Tri-County dental clinic in Englewood.
