Subject: Spousal support

As you are aware, the demand for spousal support has increased markedly over the last several years.  Last year we devoted a considerable amount of our CPM dollars to supporting spouses.  But there is a limit to what we can do and if the cases we have pending are approved we will have reached a reasonable limit.  Therefore, unless the request is for  split position (couple share a position) funding for spousal support is very limited—you may even read this as almost nonexistent.  So please keep this in mind when negotiating with candidates.
