Archery Certification Workshop at the 2009 WAHPERD Convention

On Wednesday, November 4^th, Tristanna Bickford, Coordinator of Hunter and Angler Recruitment, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, will be presenting an Archery Certification Workshop (National Archery in Schools Program) as part of the WAHPERD Convention in Riverton from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Ashgrove Elementary School (gymnasium). A total of 10 spots are still open (10/07/09) for participants to join in this day-long workshop. If you are interested in registering for the archery workshop, please do so by e-mailing Tristanna Bickford (Tristanna.Bickford@wgf.state.wy.us).

TEACHHPE-UW

The Division of Kinesiology and Health at the University of Wyoming is hosting a new list-serve, TEACHHPE-UW. It is designed for Wyoming K-12 teachers, UW pre-service teachers, and UW faculty to discuss issues that are important to teachers and their students. The list-serve will also be used to provide updates on the latest research in health and physical education, as well as important news from the Division of Kinesiology and Health and the University of Wyoming.
