"A University Community in pursuit of optimal wellness."
The University of Wyoming Wellness Center is under the direction of Student Health Service. We provide services to help shape a positive campus environment that will enable students to succeed both academically and socially. Beyond our individual services, the Wellness Center collaborates with other on-campus organizations, including AWARE, UW Student Health, the STOP Violence Program, and the University of Wyoming Counseling Center. In our effort to create an optimally well campus, we promote and contribute to campus-wide events, such as guest lecturers, road races, concerts, and educational programming.
Wellness
is defined as a state of optimal well-being, and we endorse a
rounded, holistic model that depicts this concept. We
encourage a balanced lifestyle across 5 dimensions of everyday
life, including:
physical wellness, emotional wellness,
intellectual wellness, social wellness, and spiritual wellness.
These dimensions are depicted in the Wheel of Wellness.
