Research Interests:Dr. Raisbeck's major interest is in clinical and diagnostic veterinary toxicology, and has a particular fascination with two diseases: polioencephalomalacia in ruminants and selenium poisoning in cattle, horses and waterfowl. Other interests include xenobiotic residues in food animal tissues, and metal intoxication in wildlife and domestic livestock associated with drastically disturbed lands, such as strip mines and industrial pollution. |
