Admission Standards
 
Must meet the following requirements for full admission

 

U.S. Applicants for the Master of Science

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited (Council on Higher Education or equivalent) institution

  • Normally, a 3.0 grade point average (A=4.0), or equivalent. The GPA is calculated on all undergraduate course work in the previous degree

  • A composite score of 900 on the Verbal and Quantitative sections of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is preferred

U.S. applications for the Doctor of Philosophy

  • Have obtained a Master of Science degree from an accredited (Council of Higher Education) institution; or obtain a minimum cumulative score of at least 1000 on the verbal and quantitative portions of the GRE.

International applicants for the Master of Science

  • Obtain a cumulative score of at least 900 on the verbal and quantitative portions of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)

  • Obtain a score of 540 minimum on the TOEFLs (Test of English as a Foreign Language) written exam or 76 minimum on the internet-based exam is required for full admission. Official IELTS scores will also be accepted. A minimum score of 6.0 is required for full admission.

International applicants for the Doctor of Philosophy
