Mission Statement

The University of Wyoming Sports Medicine Department's mission is to provide an integrated health care delivery system to our intercollegiate student athlete population. The scope of sports medicine services encompasses various domains that include prevention, injury recognition, treatment, rehabilitation, education, and counseling that will allow the student athlete to maintain an optimal quality of life. The University and its administrators are dedicated to providing the resources, staffing, and equipment needed to support this mission.
