Research primarily focuses on use of watershed-scale assessment and planning techniques to aid natural resource management. Research is also conducted on soil and water conservation activities that can be accomplished through application of range/forest management, restoration ecology and/or agroforestry. Teaches Forest Management (RNEW 2100 -- every spring semester) and part of Wildland Hydrology (REWM 4285 -- even numbered years in the fall semester). Serves on numerous college, university, state, national and international committees relating to natural resource management.
