4700Wildland Watershed Management
3 Credit hours
Studies hydrological cycle with specific emphasis on the role of vegetation in hydrologic processes such as interception, surface detention storage, infiltration, percolation, runoff and water quality. Utilization of watersheds and vegetation manipulation practices to modify these hydrologic processes. Prerequisite: REWM 2000, CHEM 1000, BIOL 1010 or consent of instructor. (Normally offered spring semester)
