Poisonous Plants and Plant Toxins

3 Credit hours

Plants poisonous to livestock in Wyoming and the Mountain West; identification, ecology, toxic principles, physiologic responses of animals, situations leading to poisoning, control and management to prevent losses. Prerequisite: 12 hours of biological and chemical sciences. (Normally offered spring semester in even-numbered years)
