Horticultural Science

3 Credit hours

An examination of the propagation, growth, development and utilization of horticultural plants. Students gain an understanding of plant classification, anatomy, interactions with the environment, and genetic improvement through lecture presentations and laboratory experiences. Cross listed with AECL 2025. Prerequisite: AECL 1000 or BIOL 1000 or 1010. On-campus students must take concurrently with PLNT 2025. (Offered fall semester)
