| Tip: The ZIP + 4 CODE is a nine-digit code which incorporates the original five digit XIP Code that identifies individual post offices and stations. These five digits are followed by a hyphen and four additional digits which identify individual high volume vusinesses, apartment complexes, odd or even segments of street block delivery, and buildings. ZIP + 4 codes are primarily intended for use by business mailers, on a voluntary basis. | ||||||||
