Added Bar Code Advantage Helpful Hints

Our equipment can digitally address a wide variety of mail pieces, at a rated capacity of 12,000 pieces per hour, thus providing rapid processing and distribution to your intended recipients.  We will, also, add the advantageous “Bar Code Strip” on each piece.  This results in your pieces having a professional appearance, permits faster delivery, and, best of all, means postage savings to you.

SmartMailer™ Mail Management Advantage

(307) 766-4297

email: uwpost@uwyo.edu

Through the use of our mailing program, SmartMailer™, which is published by Pitney Bowes and updated on a regular basis, we can not only print your addresses directly on your product, but can verify the address in your mailing list.  The SmartMailer™ mail management software helps manage your address database, eliminating duplicates or undeliverable addresses and customizing envelopes with marketing messages.  SmartMailer™ finds duplicates and undeliverables and flags them for deletion. It also corrects addresses using a CASS-certified CD-ROM that stores every deliverable address in the US.  SmartMailer™ saves money in others ways too, enabling pre-sorting for USPS discounts.

The Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS)

The Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) improves the accuracy of carrier route, five-digit ZIP, ZIP+4, and delivery point codes that appear on mail pieces.  To be CASS-certified, a mailing  must pass with a minimum score of 98% for ZIP+4, 100% for delivery point coding, and 98% for carrier route and five-digit.  We can help you achieve that rate of accuracy.  All you need to do is submit your list several days prior to when you want your mailing to be done.  We can run your list through our system and provide you with lists of both valid and invalid addresses.  You may then select to either correct the invalid addresses or to omit them from your list.  The valid address list can then be resubmitted and will result in an accuracy rate of 100%, which provides you with the lowest possible cost per piece.
