English as a Second Language (ELS) Language Center

As the University of Wyoming's first Intensive English as a Second Language Program, the ELS Language Center has recently opened its doors to its first international students. The ELS Language Center is an Intensive English Language Program, working with a variety of international students, including graduate students at the University of Wyoming. All conditionally admitted students deemed in need of supplemental English study may work with the ELS Language Center until a final admission has been earned. This will often occur the summer or semester before entrance to graduate study. The ELS Language Center also offers English as a Second Language study for students who are not pursuing admission to the University and wish to improve their language skills for professional or personal reasons.
