Nutrition educator bolsters Laramie County extension office

Teri Weaver is a Cent$ible Nutrition Program (CNP) educator with the Laramie County office of the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service.

Weaver, of Thermopolis, joined the office in November. She attended Northwest College in Powell and graduated with a family and consumer science degree from UW in 1998.

Weaver moved back to Wyoming from Colorado Springs, Colo., where she was working for the YMCA.

“We are excited to have an alumnus from the family and consumer sciences department as part of our team,” said Mindy Meuli, CNP manager in the UW College of Agriculture. “It is always nice when people come back to their roots.”
