Area extension educator adds marketing duties

A University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service educator serving Sweetwater and Uinta counties will begin providing marketing expertise in other areas of the state.

Bridger Feuz will continue work as an educator but will dedicate 40 percent of his time to marketing, said Glen Whipple, associate dean and director of the UW CES.

Feuz had taken on marketing specialist responsibilities a few years ago and has provided programming in agricultural marketing outside his extension area in Wyoming and other states, said Whipple.

“Bridger is willing to expand his marketing work a little to respond to the need for marketing specialist expertise in other extension areas,” he noted.

Feuz said he is looking forward to providing the service.

“I am excited to be able to provide state-wide support on marketing issues,” said Feuz, a Wyoming native who joined UW CES in 2004 “It is a subject that I am very interested in, and I enjoy working with producers to enhance their marketing strategies.”
