UW sponsors western Wyoming pesticide applicator training sessions

Pesticide applicator training sessions for renewals or new certifications for private pesticide applicators are this month in five western Wyoming communities presented by the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service (UW CES).

Pesticide applicators that employ restricted use pesticides are required to hold a pesticide applicator license.  The two-hour workshops will cover pesticide law and regulation, safety, labeling, proper use and disposal and equipment calibration. Participation is required at only one workshop for certification.

All programs begin at 1:30 p.m. The schedule is:

Monday, March 23 – Jackson, Teton County UW CES office, 255 West Deloney

Tuesday, March 24 – Afton Civic Center, 150 S. Washington

Thursday, March 26 – Farson Community Center

Friday, March 27 – Mountain View, Mountain View Branch Library

Tuesday, March 31 – Big Piney, Big Piney Branch of the Sublette County Library

Wednesday, April 1 – Pinedale, Sublette County UW CES office, 621 S. Pine.
