Jesica Lozier4-H youth educator joins Lincoln County extension office

Jesica Lozier joined the Lincoln County office of the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service (UW CES) Nov. 24 as 4-H youth extension educator.

The position is based in Kemmerer. Lozier, a Texas native, is a nine-year resident of Kemmerer. She received a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, in 2000 and has been employed by the U.S. Forest Service the past three years.

“Jesica brings a strong animal science 4-H background to the position, which will be an asset with the new livestock barn available for educational activities in Kemmerer,” according to Susan James, federal relations and staff development coordinator with UW CES.

Lozier was also active in the 4-H and FFA judging programs. She will join part-time extension educator Shar Perry in providing leadership for the 4-H program in Lincoln County.
