UW extension presents horse clinics in Cody and PowellNutritional needs of horses and various feed values will be discussed by a University of Wyoming professor Wednesday, June 4, in Cody and Powell.
Jim Waggoner, extension livestock management and nutrition specialist in UW’s College of Agriculture, will speak at 3 p.m. in the Barling Room of the Park County Courthouse in Cody and at 7 p.m. in the extension meeting room at the Park County Fairgrounds in Powell.
Waggoner, in the Department of Renewable Resources, began work at UW in 1975 teaching and research and extension work. He conducts research into livestock grazing management, livestock systems management and ecto-parasite (parasites that live on the skin surface of an animal) effects on range livestock and forage quality issues.
