Allison Flynn4-H youth educator begins Feb. 23 in Sheridan County

A 4-H youth educator will begin Feb. 23 in the Sheridan County office of the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service (UW CES).

Allison Flynn received a master’s degree in agriculture education with an extension option in December 2008 and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture education in May 2007, both from Montana State University in Bozeman, Mont.

A Montana native, Flynn brings a strong 4-H background as a 10-year alumnus of the Montana 4-H program, said Susan James, UW CES federal relations and staff development coordinator.

Flynn served two years as president of the MSU Collegiate 4-H Club. She also brings work experience with MSU Extension, the Montana 4-H Foundation and the Montana 4-H Center for Youth Development, said James.

“Allison’s 4-H experience and education focusing on youth development will be an asset as she provides leadership for the 4-H program in Sheridan County,” James noted. “During her college career, she organized major events for MSU 4-H, including contests and managing volunteers.”
