Multidisciplinary research team tackles obesity questions

Researchers in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics and the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) have melded economics with fitness to collect data to answer whether healthy foods are being passed over for unhealthy foods.

High-tech laser equipment records Wyoming watershed topography

Assistant Professor Ginger Paige uses Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) equipment to obtain Wyoming watershed information. A laser records images, and Images from several locations are merged for a three-dimensional view showing highly detailed topography and vegetation information.
