Scholarships

There are over 850 different scholarship programs at UW, including both need-based and merit awards. Exciting opportunities for high-achieving students include:

  • Trustees’ Superior Student Scholarship
  • Wyoming President’s Honor Scholarship
  • UW Honors Program Stipend
  • Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Scholarship
  • Nebraska Good Neighbor (NGN) Award
  • Western Heritage Scholarship Package

Last year 75 percent of UW students received more than $58 million in scholarships and other financial assistance. The average annual financial aid package for a freshman student was $5,943.
