Making
an Appointment:
You can take the GRE, or Praxis I computer-based tests any time we are
open as long as there are appointments available. <<<Please click on UW Testing

For ETS computer-based tests such as the GRE
and Praxis, there are no scheduling deadlines, and when space is available
walk-ins are welcome. We recommend making an appointment in advance.
During the last half of Fall Semester, we recommend making an appointment
two or three weeks in advance.
You can make an appointment for the GRE or
Praxis I by calling us at 766-2188. If we are not available, please
call one of the appropriate registration numbers listed below. You can also
register online for the GRE and TOEFL by going to http://www.ets.org/register.html
You can also cancel or reschedule your appointments online or by calling
the 800 numbers listed below. Please leave a voice message if we are not
available and we will return your call as soon as possible.
The GMAT is offered on selected days of the month. On site
registration for the GMAT is not available. To register for the GMAT,
go to www.mba.com or call
1-800-717-4628.
On the testing day, candidates must provide a
valid form of a national or state-issued identification such as a driver's
license or a passport with both a current photo and signature.
Candidates testing outside of their country of citizenship will need to show
a Passport. Payment for the GRE and Praxis must be made at the time
of the appointment, on the spot if the candidate is registering as a
walk-in. A personal check, money order, or credit card can be accepted at
the test center. Cash cannot be
accepted as a payment for the GRE or Praxis. For appointments made over the phone,
candidates must use a Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit card as
payment.
For Paper and Pencil tests, candidates must apply directly with the
testing company. Most of them have online registration. Click
on Professional Exams for more information. Online registration
requires a credit card. If that is not possible, please pick up a
bulletin in the bookshelf outside of our office and apply using a check via
the mail.
For other exams, such as long distance exams
from another university, there will be a $20 proctoring fee that must be
paid with a check or money order.
Cash and credit cards are not accepted.

Candidates that require special conditions
must call the Candidate Service Call Center to schedule an appointment.

The computer-based GRE and Praxis I may be
taken once per calendar month. Unofficial scores are available
to the candidate upon completion of all computer-based tests. Official
score reports are sent out 2-3 weeks after the test date by the individual
testing companies.
