The Student Health Service (SHS) is located in the Student Health/Nursing Building, the second building east of Old Main on the south side of Prexy’s Pasture.

Patients with military insurance (TRICARE) should check the eligibility page for more information.

Fall and Spring semesters
    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM   
   Thursday  9:00 AM - 5:00 PM 
Christmas and Spring Breaks
    Monday through Friday    8:00 AM - Noon, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Summer Hours
   Monday through Friday    7:30 AM - Noon, 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Student Health Service is closed during holidays, winter closure and on weekends.  These hours are subject to change depending upon the needs of the university.  Only urgent needs are seen after 4:30 pm.  Valid urgent needs are seen whenever SHS is open.

Please call (766-2130) as far ahead as possible to make an appointment. Also, arrive at SHS 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you are late for an appointment, you may be required to reschedule.

You can now do appointment scheduling between 5:00 pm and 7:00 am the next morning as well as Saturday and Sunday. If you have not previously been seen at Student Health Service, you must call to make an appointment rather than use the online scheduling. The link for scheduling will appear below and is active during these times. Click and follow the instructions when you reach the reservation system.
