On September 16, 2001, eight cross country runners from the University of Wyoming were killed by a drunk driver. On the second Saturday of every October, we 'RUN FOR THE "8"', in their memory and in celebration of their lives and commitment to running.

Thanks to all of the runners and volunteers that helped make the 2008 race the best ever. Hope you like our new look! This is a 10 mile trail race, run mostly on single track in the Medicine Bow National Forest. The 2009 race will be held on October 10, 2009. See the Race Information page for details.
