Welcome to Academic Services

Academic Services provides academic support for undergraduate students through tutoring and study skills development and improves tutoring programs through an organized tutor training program.

 Services:

Academic Services provides free group tutoring and individual tutoring in a variety of subjects to students who participate in Student Educational Opportunity projects. AS also sponsors a tutor training class and tutor certification program. 

 Eligibility:

To receive free tutoring, students must be served by one of the two SEO projects Student Support Services or McNair Scholars. All students have access to free drop-in tutoring at the Student Learning Center located in the basement of the Washakie Center. Students who meet the qualifications to be a tutor may place their names on the tutor referral listing and apply for the tutor training class.
