Student Employment Opportunities

The Open Recreation student staff is a vital part of Campus Recreation. Open Recreation student employees consist of lifeguards, customer service staff, which includes Front Lobby ID Checker, Equipment Room Attendant, Service Window Assistant, Weight Room Attendant, and Facility Supervisors. There are at least 4 student employees on staff every hour when Half Acre is open. We take great pride in our excellent customer service.

If you are interested in becoming a student employee and are people oriented, friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic, and have good customer service skills, please stop by the front office and pick up an application

We also hire work study positions; if you have qualified for Federal Work Study go to Human Resources and apply for the job titled 'Recreation Assistant'.
