Members may check-out equipment from the Half Acre and Corbett equipment rooms using a valid WyoOne Card. Available equipment: basketballs, boxing gloves, day locks, racquetball eye guards, towels, volleyballs, wallyball sets, jump ropes, and weight belts.



Racquetball, Badminton, and Squash Racquet Rental


Members may check out badminton, racquetball or squash racquets for a $1 daily fee. Members may also purchase a semester racquet rental plan for $10 or bring their own equipment. Badminton and racquetball racquets are also available for purchase at the Rec Store.

Towel Service


Free towel service is available at Half Acre during building hours and at Corbett during scheduled recreation hours. Present your WyoOne Card at the Equipment Room to check out a towel.

Locker Rentals


Lockers are available in the locker rooms at Half Acre. The three quarter lockers are available for day use only and personal belongings cannot be left in day lockers overnight. Personal locks that are left on any lockers overnight will be cut off.

Campus Recreation is not responsible for theft. It is recommended that you do not leave valuables such as jewelry, wallets, and credit cards in lockers. Do not forget to lock your locker.

Half Lockers: $25 per semester

Box Lockers: $7.50 per semester

UW employees may rent lockers on an annual or semester basis. UW employees renting semester lockers must clear or renew their lockers by the last day of the month at the end of each semester.

UW students may rent lockers on a semester or academic year basis. Students must clear or renew their lockers by the last day of finals week.

Tours, Parking, Lost and Found


Tours


Self-guided tours are available during all hours of operation. Visitors can pick up tour instructions at the Campus Recreation office. All visitors are required to sign in at the Campus Recreation office before beginning their tour.

Parking


All parking areas on campus are posted with signs indicating the type of parking permit required. Parking is available east of Half Acre for an hourly fee in the Day Lot. Permits are required in most areas from 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Half Acre participants may park in the commuter lots for no charge and ride the Express Shuttle during shuttle hours. Parking is regulated throughout the year.

Lost and found


Lost and found items are kept in the equipment rooms at Half Acre and at Corbett for 30 days.
