Reserving facilities with Campus Recreation


Who can reserve campus recreation facilities?


  • University of Wyoming groups/organizations
  • Non-university groups/organizations

What activity areas can be reserved?


Half Acre
  • Pool (capacity = 45)
  • Main gym (non-spectator area) three courts: basketball, volleyball, and badminton
  • Racquetball courts six courts: racquetball, squash, handball, and wallyball
  • Exercise rooms/dance studio two rooms: a dance studio and an exercise room with wood floors and mirrors
  • Climbing wall 75’ x 22’: bouldering and top-rope climbing instruction required: call (307) 766-6488 for more information.
Corbett
  • Pool (capacity = 92) 25-yard by 25-meter L-shaped pool with three diving boards.
  • Gymtwo courts: basketball and volleyball.
Recreation Fields
  • Fields located at 22nd and Willett can be reserved by calling (307) 766-6492.


Where do we go to reserve recreation facilities?


  • Campus Recreation office
    101 Half Acre
    During open building hours (see facility schedule)
  • Reservations for facility use are dependent on space and employee availability
  • Processing will take approximately five working days once a facility request form has been completed. Confirmation may take longer.

How do I reserve recreation facilities?


  • Pick up a facility request form at the Campus Recreation office, located in the west lobby of Half Acre.
  • Call (307) 766-6740 to request information about reserving recreation facilities.
  • Non-university affiliated individuals or groups must provide a proof of insurance certificate indicating single-liability insurance in which the University of Wyoming is named as additional insured in the amount of $1 million covering bodily injury, including death, and property damage.
  • Refunds are available for one-day and short-term reservations if cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance of the rental date except for employee costs. For long-term rentals there are no refunds.

Employees costs are doubled 11 p.m.–8 a.m.

Half Acre pool $40.00 per hour
Exercise rooms $15.00 per hour
Courts $15.00 per hour

Corbett pool $60.00 per hour
