Assessment at the University of Wyoming

The University of Wyoming is committed to providing students with high quality academic programs and services. As a result, UW is engaged in several types of activities referred to as assessment. A university assessment plan has been designed to gather information from periodic measurements of students’ intellectual growth. Learning is assessed at the university, college and departmental levels. Assessment activities include surveys, interviews, portfolios, exams and senior capstone projects. Students will be required to complete assessment activities as determined by the university prior to the awarding of degrees. The information is used to continually improve our academic programs.
