Professor Emeritus: Katherine Jensen The Women's Studies Program offers an interdisciplinary course of study which systematically examines the experiences of women in history, society and culture. Students may earn a major in women's studies or a minor as a complement to their major. An interdisciplinary Women's Studies Committee supervises the program, including course introduction, scheduling and coordination. A faculty adviser is assigned to the student upon declaration of the major or minor. For the women's studies major, the student must complete 33 credit hours of women's studies including: All required classes for the major must be completed with a grade of 'C' or better. For the women's studies minor, students must complete WMST 1080, 3500, 3710 and 4700, as well as 6 credits from women's studies electives offered by various departments and listed in each semester's class schedule.
