An asterisk ( * ) following the course reference number (CRN) indicates controlled enrollment. You must contact the appropriate academic department to obtain permission to register for the course and for professor/section choice.

The Math Department checks prerequisites on most 1000 and 2000-level courses approximately two weeks prior to the beginning of each semester. Students without an appropriate prerequisite will be administratively dropped from their math course. After the prerequisite check, 1000 and 2000-level courses will be under controlled enrollment. Students will be unable to register for these courses through WyoWeb and should contact the Math Department to have prerequisites checked and get enrolled in a math course. Department staff will help students who were dropped from a math class enroll in an alternative math course. The Math Department makes every effort to accommodate all students wanting to get into a math course. Due to the volume of students the department serves, all phone inquiries cannot necessarily be answered. If possible, students are encouraged to visit the Math Department in Ross Hall, Room 201.
