Political Science Minors

 

   The Political Science Department is pleased to offer four minors.  Students in all majors can minor in American Politics, International Relations and Comparative Government, Political Theory, or Public Law. Please note that at least 12 credit hours in a minor must be from courses not being counted toward the major. American Politics (APOL)

Total Credit Hours - 18 hours

At least 12 hours at the 3000 level or above, including one seminar. All Minors require a grade of ‘C’ or better in all courses.  Additional electives may be approved by consultation with an advisor.  At least 12 credit hours in a minor must be from courses NOT being counted toward the major.

American Politcs Minor

International Relations and Comparative Government (IRCG)

Total Credit Hours - 18 hours

At least 12 hours at the 3000 level or above, including one seminar. All Minors require a grade of ‘C’ or better in all courses.  Additional electives may be approved by consultation with an advisor.  At least 12 credit hours in a minor must be from courses NOT being counted toward the major.

International Relations & Comparative Government Minor

Political Theory (POTH)

Total Credit Hours - 18 hours
