  • Cheney, Richard B. "Dick" - BA (1965), MA (1966) - Secretary of Defense under President George Bush and Chief of Staff for President Gerald Ford, former President and CEO of the Halliburton Co. in Dallas, and Vice President of the United States 2001 - present
  • Dover, E.D. - BA (1970), MPA (1974) - Professor and chair in the Department of Political Science, Public Policy and Administration at Western Oregon University in Salem.  He is the author of Missed Opportunity:  Gore, Incumbency, and Television in Election 2000 (Praeger Publishers, 2002)
  • Farrell, Jane M. - BA (1977) - General Counsel and Director of Development for Red Cloud Indian School, a Jesuit school on the Pine Ridge Reservation. She was honored in 2004 an Outstanding Alumnae of the College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Frerichs, Rebecca L. - BS (1989) - Received her Ph.D. in sociology from the University of New Mexico and is now a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State. In October 2003 she joined the U.S. Consulate in Mumbai, India
