Mo Ostlind leads backpacking, hiking, climbing, canoeing, and snowshoeing trips for the Outdoor Program since 2000. Originally from Big Horn, Wyoming, her love of rivers and mountains has taken her up volcanoes in Mexico and Guatemala, to Hemis High Altitude National Park in the Himalayas to look for snow leopards, and along 1,000 miles of the Peace and Slave Rivers in Canada to Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territory. She is currently pursuing a Master's of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction Writing and Environment and Natural Resources at UW. She plans to hike 150 miles of the western Wyoming pronghorn migration corridor to write a book about it.

Julian Poush is currently doing his undergraduate in Psychology at the University of Wyoming.  He was born along Piney Creek in Story, Wyoming and has lived in Portland, Oregon and Grand Junction, Colorado before coming to Laramie. Presently he leads Rock Climbing trips, and has been climbing since he was six years old. His fascination with the outdoors has taken him on adventures in places such as the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, the San Juan Mountains, and Joshua Tree National Park. One day he will go back and climb The North Buttress route on Mount Sneffels.

John Trimble is a graduate student at the University of Wyoming, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Structural Geology. He received his BS in Geology from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN, where he led trips for four years with the Sewanee Outing Program before joining the OP in 2007. First drawn to the outdoors by the thrill of cross-country mountain biking, John has led trips in a variety of activities - including caving, hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, swimming, orienteering, mountain biking, road biking, canoeing, and mountaineering. John's newest love is telemark skiing, where he has freed not only the heel, but also the mind.

Forrest Maclean graduated from Pinedale High School in 2003, spent a year at WSU in Pullman, WA and is continuing his undergraduate degree in civil engineering here at the University of Wyoming.  Having grown up on the river and in the mountains, every spare moment is spent looking for the next adventure.  As an avid outdoor enthusiast, Forrest has spent over 9 years paddling whitewater, is an ACA Whitewater Kayak Instructor, and in the off-season is a backcountry skier, Ski Patroller, and snowkiter.  Still exploring all that Laramie has to offer, he continues his 4th year as an OP trip leader, sharing and educating some of his many lifelong passions.

Joe Riis leads canoeing trips for the Outdoor Program. He received his undergraduate dual degree in Wildlife Biology and Environment & Natural Resources in 2008. Now he works full time as a freelance wildlife photographer. He is a recipient of a National Geographic Expeditions Council Young Explorers Award and also is on assignment for NG Adventure Magazine with Rick Ridgeway in the fall of 2008. Joe enjoys introducing students to the wild places of Wyoming, which he hopes will lead to inspiring others to conserve and protect wild lands and species.

Katelyn Johnson currently leads hiking, fly-fishing, and snowshoeing trips for the Outdoor Program. Originally from Sidney, Nebraska, she doesn’t stick around the flatlands too much. She is an avid backpacker, and enjoys skiing, rock-climbing, mountain biking, swimming, hunting, fishing, and many more outdoor activities. Whether it be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa, repelling waterfalls in Costa Rica, snorkeling in the British Virgin Islands, or sight-seeing in Hong Kong, she is quite the adventurist. She is pursuing her undergraduate degree in Textiles and Merchandising, where she someday hopes to work for an outdoor clothing and gear company.
