Academic Web Sites
Academic Web sites are those sites that are used specifically for class
information. Academic Web sites are granted to any professor at UW that wishes to
use the Web as a tool for presenting his or her class information. Web sites can be used to
enhance course presentation by offering online:
- Course syllabi
- Copies of presentation such as those done in PowerPoint
- Links to pages pertinent to the class
- Reading assignments
- Feedback forums
- Class schedules
Academic Web sites are hosted at uwacadweb.uwyo.edu (but can also be accessed with the alias www.uwyo.edu).
FrontPage extensions are available.
